Nas Horas Vagas F.C's Lúcio Pitta got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th match minute, Mosqueteiros 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuca da Costa to maneuver through the defense. Beto de Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Camargo in the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Moisés Branco got a free kick in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Dino Palmeira could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which João Augusto Barbosa however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Mosqueteiros 4EVER getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Pedro Augusto Souza hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Nas Horas Vagas F.C's goalkeeper João Augusto Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dino Palmeira. João Augusto Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Dino Palmeira sent off a good shot on target. João Augusto Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Branco in the 33rd minute of play. João Augusto Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Nas Horas Vagas F.C's zone, Moisés Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto Barbosa came out of the goal and Moisés Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Augusto Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Queirós in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moisés Branco was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Nas Horas Vagas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Lúcio Pitta charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lúcio Pitta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Pitta in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beto de Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lúcio Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Augusto Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moisés Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Pedro Augusto Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
