Trastevere's goal looked a bit too open when Caio Rosa came free, but Alberto Frabetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Miguel Ángel Ortiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting a goal against them. The supporters of A.S. Trastevere booed when S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes, Filippo Pugliese made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Miguel Ángel Ortiz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Frabetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Décio Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when 贺诚彬 got free with Miguel Ángel Ortiz in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Décio Mandrak's late challenge caught a A.S. Trastevere's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Décio Mandrak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Décio Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Ángel Ortiz made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Filippo Pugliese sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filippo Pugliese got free with Miguel Ángel Ortiz in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Filippo Pugliese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Miguel Ángel Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Miguel Ángel Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Graziano in the 51st minute of play. Marcin Konieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Ángel Ortiz having to interfere. Caio Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Filippo Pugliese recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Caio Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.S. Trastevere the free kick. Caio Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Konieczny in the 69th minute of play forced S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that 贺诚彬 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Ángel Ortiz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Filippo Pugliese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Marcin Konieczny managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S. Trastevere's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcin Konieczny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Ángel Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Mazurkiewicz got free with Alberto Frabetti in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to S.E.R. Caxias do Sul getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ramiro de Lima hit a great ball. Miguel Ángel Ortiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filippo Pugliese went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcin Konieczny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Mazurkiewicz in the 95th minute of play forced A.S. Trastevere's goalkeeper Alberto Frabetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. A.S. Trastevere fully deserved thier win.
