After a rather tough play, Zelg FC's Massimo Esposito got a free kick in the 13th minute. Ernesto Formaggio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Beller, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Massimo Esposito made a precise shot to the right of Ernesto Formaggio. Schuster's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Alex Di Nunzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, Stefan Beller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Formaggio. Schuster's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stefan Beller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half Zelg FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carter Rocco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Formaggio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Beller, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Ernesto Formaggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Beller in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Zelg FC's Joao Rohn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ernesto Formaggio. Ernesto Formaggio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Aurelius Bolduc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Rocco in the 65th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Schuster got a freekick which was hit by Alex Di Nunzio. Stefan Beller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ernesto Formaggio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Schuster's Ernesto Formaggio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Schuster from getting a goal against them. Aurelius Bolduc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Di Nunzio in the 84th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Massimo Esposito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ernesto Formaggio. That made the score 1-4 in the 88 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Zelg FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Schuster.
