Soroca F.C.'s Mateo Berriotxoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Galli in the 8th minute of play. Emanuele Di Biagio might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Berriotxoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuele Di Biagio ran back to his position shaking his head. Mateo Berriotxoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuele Di Biagio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 20 played minutes Soroca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Julio Mambru. When Emanuele Di Biagio came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Seggiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuele Di Biagio couldn't finish the play. Mateo Berriotxoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Di Biagio in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emanuele Di Biagio came free, but Mateo Berriotxoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seggiano were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
