Adrian Mercea came out of the goal and Federico Lauri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlo Colaneri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seggiano's goalkeeper Carlo Colaneri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the match F.C.BARLAD got a corner. Seggiano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paul Irod ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When Paul Irod fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.BARLAD's protests and gave Paul Irod a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Paul Irod hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Colaneri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Codruț in the 55th minute of the match. Emanuele Di Biagio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Mercea having to make a save. Adrian Mercea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Di Biagio in the 58th minute of play. Seggiano's Carlo Colaneri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Seggiano from getting a goal against them. Valentin Verzea kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Seggiano got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Di Fabrizio. The supporters of Seggiano booed when F.C.BARLAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Verzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seggiano's Carlo Colaneri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Seggiano from getting a goal against them. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrian Mercea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Di Biagio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seggiano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Federico Lauri in the 88th minute. Adrian Mercea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Di Biagio in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Emanuele Di Biagio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Mercea was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2.
