After 27 played minutes Navigatii Bacău got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Zegreanu. A collision led to Navigatii Bacău getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Remus Zăraşcu hit a great ball. With a little luck, Navigatii Bacău's Florin Niță got control of the ball when Ennio Capasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ennio Capasso in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Florin Niță, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Florin Niță was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Dave Aquilino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dave Aquilino really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudiu Manolescu was the one to do the kick off. Navigatii Bacău's Florin Niță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Aquilino in the 55th minute of play.
