Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amerigo Melucci got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Albani to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 4 minutes, Iosif Macamete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Navigatii Bacău's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iosif Macamete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florin Niță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Albani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florin Niță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Corvi in the 7th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Navigatii Bacău defense, Ettore Corvi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florin Niță. The Navigatii Bacău fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florin Niță should have stopped the shot. A nice corner shot did that Remus Zăraşcu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ettore Albertini quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 20 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Coscia. Florin Niță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Marcelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Alex Marcelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florin Niță. Navigatii Bacău's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Marcelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 37th minute Ettore Corvi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Niță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Marcelli came free, but Florin Niță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Amerigo Melucci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florin Niță was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Navigatii Bacău's Claudiu Manolescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ettore Albertini. That made the score 1-3 after 43 minutes of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudiu Manolescu was the one to do the kick off. Eric Şneapotă took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ettore Albertini. Ettore Albertini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Florin Niță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Marcelli in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Melucci in the 64th minute of play forced Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Florin Niță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Navigatii Bacău booed when Lunatics of Arianrhod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Albani didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Marcelli in the 68th minute of play forced Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Florin Niță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Şneapotă charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Şneapotă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Navigatii Bacău getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Eric Şneapotă hit a great ball. In the 69th minute of the match Fausto Ronconi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florin Niță showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Florin Niță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Corvi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Florin Niță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Albani in the 72nd minute of play. Corneliu Cismaș kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Amerigo Melucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Niță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Navigatii Bacău's Iosif Macamete got a free kick in the 79th minute. Florin Niță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Melucci in the 80th minute of play. Ettore Corvi hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Corvi came free, but Florin Niță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lunatics of Arianrhod's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
