San Felice a Ema U.L.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sorci Viola the free kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beppe Zoff to make the kick off. Dario Zollino charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Zollino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sorci Viola booed when San Felice a Ema U.L. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Zollino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 minutes, Amos Lepori mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Felice a Ema U.L. and the Sorci Viola players grew even worse after the yellow card. Beppe Zoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Bellone having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sorci Viola players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
