Arian Beqaj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Van Kamp in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bruges's goalkeeper Luc Van Hinnendael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beek City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Miroslaw Hetman in the 24th minute. Beek City's Miroslaw Hetman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luc Van Hinnendael in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 25 minutes into the match, Beek City's Marciano Hendrickx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luc Van Hinnendael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luc Van Hinnendael was a little too slow when Marciano Hendrickx got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 63 minutes, Antonio Eggers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Bruges and the Beek City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, FC Bruges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Eggers to maneuver through the defense. If Marciano Hendrickx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the match, Beek City's Marciano Hendrickx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luc Van Hinnendael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Beek City fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Beek City's Marciano Hendrickx looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 95th match minute, Beek City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Siöman to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Hendrickx came free, but Luc Van Hinnendael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Beek City players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
