Jānis Pavelskops showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Tomasini in the 23rd minute of the match. Richie Ason kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. UTC FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rojelio Daza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Escobar made a kick off. 50 minutes into the match, UTC FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Tomasini came free, but Jānis Pavelskops reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richie Ason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jānis Pavelskops tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rojelio Daza hit a great ball. The supporters of UTC FC booed when ALIANZA 1901 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position.
