Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Enrique Cassaretto took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelito Vivar came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Alianza Trujillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Obano Mezcano to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Brandt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Cassaretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Cassaretto in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Brandt saved Alianza Trujillo from getting behind. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelito Vivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, CD Municipal's Martino Armona made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Brandt was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelito Vivar to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Alianza Trujillo's George Forsyth threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Szilveszter Szegh, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Obano Mezcano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Forsyth was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szilveszter Szegh in the 60th minute of play. Aureliano Buendia kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Alianza Trujillo's Pudes Vilas was substituted for Marcelito Vivar. In the 63rd minute, Aureliano Buendia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Cassaretto in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Brandt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alianza Trujillo's Tomas Brandt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Cassaretto in the 73rd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, CD Municipal's Enrique Cassaretto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Brandt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. George Forsyth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Cassaretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Brandt came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by CD Municipal's Tulio Andinyach. But to his dismay, Tulio Andinyach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. George Forsyth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pudes Vilas in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CD Municipal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alianza Trujillo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
