Tivadar Demeter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Péter Mészáros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endre Rahner in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Tivadar Demeter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szombathely Squirrels fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tivadar Demeter might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Péter Mészáros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tivadar Demeter ran back to his position shaking his head. Péter Mészáros made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Tivadar Demeter sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Péter Mészáros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Péter Mészáros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 57th match minute, Csabagyöngye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dávid Hegyi to maneuver through the defense. Szombathely Squirrels's Tamás Szentesi was substituted for Bai Jun Chong. Szombathely Squirrels made a substitution. Lei Jian Xiong replaced Tivadar Demeter. Péter Mészáros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amanda Almqvist in the 63rd minute of the match. Péter Mészáros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amanda Almqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Péter Mészáros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Lei Jian Xiong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Péter Mészáros was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 83 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's Lei Jian Xiong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Péter Mészáros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Péter Mészáros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lei Jian Xiong in the 92nd minute of play. If Lei Jian Xiong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
