Reinhold Artmaier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tivadar Demeter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bai Jun Chong got free with Kaan Winter in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 14 minutes STORM CORNER F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bai Jun Chong who took care of the corner kick. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind STORM CORNER F.C.'s goalkeeper Kaan Winter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Szombathely Squirrels's József Varga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cornelio Pacifico in the 19 minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Szombathely Squirrels were awarded a corner. Bai Jun Chong went to the cornerflag to take it. Kaan Winter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tivadar Demeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ede Szász in the 30th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tivadar Demeter got free with Kaan Winter in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Tivadar Demeter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaan Winter. STORM CORNER F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tivadar Demeter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Tivadar Demeter took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kaan Winter. Kaan Winter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 46thth minute of the game Reinhold Artmaier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 54th minute of the match STORM CORNER F.C. got a corner. Szombathely Squirrels's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ionuț Jităreanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ionuț Jităreanu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper did a great save. Cornelio Pacifico got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Reinhold Artmaier. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ede Szász in the 60th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Lei Jian Xiong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szombathely Squirrels fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Ionuț Jităreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnold Szuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinhold Artmaier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lei Jian Xiong in the 69th minute of play forced STORM CORNER F.C.'s goalkeeper Kaan Winter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krisztián Lisztes kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Kaan Winter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lei Jian Xiong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Pacifico kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Lei Jian Xiong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kaan Winter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lei Jian Xiong in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionuț Jităreanu got free with Arnold Szuper in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind STORM CORNER F.C.'s goalkeeper Kaan Winter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the STORM CORNER F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Szombathely Squirrels.
