In the 3rd minute, Bálint Kőváry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gösta Giliusson in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Csabrendek Zombies's Bálint Kőváry got a free kick in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Keszi Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Costanzo came free, but Claudinho Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinho Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gösta Giliusson in the 15th minute. Keszi Athletic's Claudinho Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Molinaro in the 20th minute of play. Claudinho Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amerigo Costanzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gösta Giliusson got free with Claudinho Taffarel in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugó Révész sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balázs Sipos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugó Révész, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Claudinho Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amerigo Costanzo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Mihály Vörös sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudinho Taffarel skillfully saved the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Keszi Athletic made a substitution. István Gyurkovics replaced Vaios Vourtzoumis. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugó Révész made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, Csabrendek Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Costanzo to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Keszi Athletic's goalkeeper Claudinho Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hugó Révész fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Keszi Athletic's protests and gave Hugó Révész a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Csabrendek Zombies booed when Keszi Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugó Révész didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keszi Athletic's Sabin Calderon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Balázs Sipos but with some difficulty. Balázs Sipos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from István Gyurkovics, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinho Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Giliusson in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by István Gyurkovics in the 90th minute of play forced Csabrendek Zombies's goalkeeper Balázs Sipos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gáspár Varsányi hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When Amerigo Costanzo fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Csabrendek Zombies's protests and gave Amerigo Costanzo a yellow card for diving instead. Amerigo Costanzo kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
