The audience was convinced that Hugó Révész's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but András Horváth was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Hugó Révész ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. András Horváth was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goal looked a bit too open when Vaios Vourtzoumis came free, but András Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugó Révész's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, András Horváth skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. András Horváth came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Keszi Athletic's Hugó Révész. But to his dismay, Hugó Révész quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 31st minute, Hugó Révész reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of András Horváth. The goal made the score 4-0. András Horváth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vaios Vourtzoumis's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaios Vourtzoumis in the 41st minute of play forced Szajk LC's goalkeeper András Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Zénó Polgár in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Keszi Athletic's Sabin Calderon. In the 45th minute Zalán Kovács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szajk LC's Lajos Józsa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zsolt Veress in the 47 minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Keszi Athletic made a substitution. Kornél Kerekes replaced Anton Kutnjak. The wind increased when Hugó Révész made the kick off in the second half. Isac Vale hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Zalán Kovácss short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Claudinho Taffarel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Claudinho Taffarel managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Szajk LC's Zalán Kovács fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 65th minute Hugó Révész shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. István Gyurkovics took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised András Horváth. András Horváth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Szajk LC made a substitution. Lajos Szuper replaced Zénó Polgár. Lajos Szuper made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Keszi Athletic's Isac Vale. Keszi Athletic's attentive Gábor Hellinger managed to snatch the ball when Lajos Szuper made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Emánuel Hatvani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Taffarel having to interfere. Claudinho Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Csongor Csorba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinho Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csongor Csorba in the 93rd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Szajk LC's Csongor Csorba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudinho Taffarel. Claudinho Taffarel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. Keszi Athletic were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Szajk LC for a fine match.
