Lázár Lévay was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Valencia CF Mindszent's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 7 minutes into the match, RedBull Diósgyőr FC's goalkeeper Attila Mesterházy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Åke Hedlund. Jan-Åke Hedlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Attila Mesterházy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Åke Hedlund ran back to his position shaking his head. After 11 minutes of play, Valencia CF Mindszent's Jan-Åke Hedlund made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Attila Mesterházy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Attila Mesterházy was a little too slow when Jan-Åke Hedlund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 2-0. Jan-Åke Hedlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Attila Mesterházy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Åke Hedlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Jan-Åke Hedlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Attila Mesterházy made a huge save. Attila Mesterházy was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Jan-Åke Hedlund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan-Åke Hedlund really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. A hard shot 28 in the game by Jan-Åke Hedlund from a close distance when the talented Attila Mesterházy managed to make a qualified save. RedBull Diósgyőr FC's players were relieved. In the 32nd minute Saltuk Peykan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Mesterházy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RedBull Diósgyőr FC's Attila Mesterházy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save RedBull Diósgyőr FC from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Valencia CF Mindszent's Saltuk Peykan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Jan-Åke Hedlund succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 43rd playminute. In the 47th minute, Jan-Åke Hedlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valencia CF Mindszent fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

54 minutes had been played when some careless play by RedBull Diósgyőr FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lázár Lévay was slow to take the kick. During this time Valencia CF Mindszent's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Lázár Lévay almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RedBull Diósgyőr FC's Attila Mesterházy did a great save. Attila Mesterházy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gáspár Rigó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes RedBull Diósgyőr FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lázár Lévay who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Valencia CF Mindszent's Christos Xenidis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 59th minute of the match Saltuk Peykan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Attila Mesterházy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valencia CF Mindszent's Dan Beard was substituted for Silvestre Pacorro. In the 64th minute Jan-Åke Hedlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Mesterházy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Valencia CF Mindszent's Jan-Åke Hedlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Attila Mesterházy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Valencia CF Mindszent made a substitution. Bob Sinclair replaced Jan-Åke Hedlund. Maurício Monsanto kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bob Sinclair's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Attila Mesterházy was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 81st minute Bob Sinclair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Mesterházy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attila Mesterházy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázár Lévay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Bob Sinclair put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Attila Mesterházy. Attila Mesterházy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Sinclair in the 93rd minute of the match. Attila Mesterházy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bob Sinclair went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Valencia CF Mindszent players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
