The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Honorio Florin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kent Beckeman. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 8th minute Hasta Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Asteguieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, BV Borussia Hammarby's goal looked a bit too open when Hasta Alfonso came free, but Jairo Asteguieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Asteguieta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miromir Gdowski's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Glentown FC's Hasta Alfonso made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Asteguieta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jairo Asteguieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miromir Gdowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Hasta Alfonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Asteguieta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orvar Kihlman came free, but Kent Beckeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Beckeman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Glentown FC's goalkeeper Kent Beckeman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by BV Borussia Hammarby's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amanda Cabello was slow to take the kick. During this time Glentown FC's players had a chance to rest. Glentown FC's Amanda Cabello was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jairo Asteguieta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 43 minutes, Andreas Johansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glentown FC and the BV Borussia Hammarby players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kent Beckeman went to the wrong direction when Honorio Florin was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hasta Alfonso to strike the kick off in the second half. Kent Beckeman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Florin in the 56th minute of the match. Honorio Florin scored 2-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kent Beckeman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. BV Borussia Hammarby made a substitution. Hong Hao Fei replaced Honorio Florin. After 63 played minutes BV Borussia Hammarby got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Josefsson. Sven-Olof Josefsson hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, BV Borussia Hammarby's goalkeeper Jairo Asteguieta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miromir Gdowski. 69 minutes into the game, Anders Örtlund threw the ball into play from the sideline. Glentown FC's Tom Lindholm quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 70th minute, Miromir Gdowski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jairo Asteguieta, passed just outside the right post. If Orvar Kihlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kent Beckeman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orvar Kihlman, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Glentown FC's Kent Beckeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hong Hao Fei in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, BV Borussia Hammarby's Jairo Asteguieta got control of the ball when Hasta Alfonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute Miromir Gdowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Asteguieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Beckeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hong Hao Fei in the 88th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Hong Hao Fei notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Glentown FC's Kent Beckeman. Kent Beckeman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 93 minutes into the game, Orvar Kihlman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Kent Beckeman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BV Borussia Hammarby had won after a very even match.
