An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão de Amorim in the 7th minute of play forced Sparsör BF's goalkeeper Arvid Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SoS FC's Karl-Erik Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Törnblom in the 12th minute of play. Arvid Säv made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Pedrão de Amorim sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, Sparsör BF's goalkeeper Arvid Säv had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrão de Amorim. SoS FC's Karl-Erik Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Fernando Quinteros in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of SoS FC booed when Sparsör BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arrigo Maestri didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingmar Lundqvist in the 22nd minute of play forced Sparsör BF's goalkeeper Arvid Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Oskar Törnblom put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Karl-Erik Larsson. Arvid Säv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão de Amorim in the 27th minute of the match. Arvid Säv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the SoS FC defense, Oskar Törnblom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Erik Larsson. The SoS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Erik Larsson should have stopped the shot. Arvid Säv made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Boylin in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute of the match, Ingmar Lundqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arvid Säv saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Juan Fernando Quinteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Larsson having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oskar Törnblom was the one to do the kick off. Karl-Erik Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Törnblom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Juan Fernando Quinteros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SoS FC's Karl-Erik Larsson did a great save. In the 57th minute, Sparsör BF's Arrigo Maestri seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arrigo Maestri the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sparsör BF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arrigo Maestri had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for SoS FC. Tommy Boylin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arvid Säv. 1-2. In the 66th minute, Leif Duset hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SoS FC's Bernt Lundqvist was substituted for Yusuf Ziya Öğeturk. Sparsör BF's Simon Arvidsson was substituted for Rune Enegren. A collision led to SoS FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Leif Duset hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Peder Pihl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arvid Säv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SoS FC booed when Sparsör BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eskil Asklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Hermansson in the 78th minute of play forced Sparsör BF's goalkeeper Arvid Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Sparsör BF's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Lundqvist came free, but Arvid Säv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Larsson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Hermansson in the 95th minute of play forced Sparsör BF's goalkeeper Arvid Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Olov Hermansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arvid Säv was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Arvid Säv came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by SoS FC's Pedrão de Amorim. But to his dismay, Pedrão de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Sparsör BF were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
