After 43 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Norberg. After 44 played minutes Juan Fernando Quinteros shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Di Röe's George Kristiansson to catch but Juan Fernando Quinteros was lucky. It became 0-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After 47 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Edu Loss. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Sparsör BF's Peder Pihl got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Arvid Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Melberg in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Di Röe's George Kristiansson got control of the ball when Aurelio Cesaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Di Röe made a substitution. Romeo Gologan replaced Sten Melberg. Arvid Säv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conny Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Arvid Säv didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conny Ronaldo went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Cesaro got free with George Kristiansson in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jens Åkerman's late challenge caught a Sparsör BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens Åkerman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Di Röe's Jens Åkerman got a free kick in the 80th minute. Di Röe's George Kristiansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Di Röe from getting a goal against them. Arvid Säv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Gologan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Arvid Säv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Arne Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Sparsör BF's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Gologan came free, but Arvid Säv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Oskar Törnblom came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Sparsör BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Törnblom couldn't finish the play. Sparsör BF's Arvid Säv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Arne Olsson in the 96th minute of play. When the match was over Sparsör BF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Di Röe throughout the match.
