Raul Heriberto was slow to take the kick. During this time CAI NEUQUEN's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Rondeau's goalie and right to Joel Santana. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Rondeau's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Gustafsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Rondeau booed when CAI NEUQUEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jürgen Jääger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Firmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rondeau's Camilo Firmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Honesto in the 88th minute of play. After 90 minutes Rondeau's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raul Heriberto who took care of the corner kick.
