The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Edu Gol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastián Junes made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Edu Gol sent off a good shot on target. 14 minutes into the match, Moscovi Ψ's Edu Gol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastián Junes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aldo Quintin kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Edu Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastián Junes was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the match, Moscovi Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Udalaitz came free, but Kiliz Mauleon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Guillermo Marz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute of the match Celtic FC got a corner. Moscovi Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ted Ambjörnsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Grischa Fridrich was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 27th minute Moscovi Ψ were awarded a corner. Karahan Cansoy went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ovidio Rey got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sebastián Junes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marco Oinatz in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sebastián Junes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kiliz Mauleon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Lugo in the 30th minute of play. Sebastián Junes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Oinatz in the 31st minute of the match. In the 37th minute Celtic FC were awarded a corner. Ted Ambjörnsson went to the cornerflag to take it. Sebastián Junes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Oinatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sebastián Junes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Gol in the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Celtic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Gol came free, but Sebastián Junes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Moscovi Ψ made a substitution. Vladimiro Raulo replaced Marco Oinatz. Sebastián Junes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Eudoxio in the 54th minute of play. Sebastián Junes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Eudoxio's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After 59 minutes Moscovi Ψ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ted Ambjörnsson who took care of the corner kick. After 59 played minutes Celtic FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Barea. In the 66th minute Edgard Eudoxio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Junes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celtic FC's Sebastián Junes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Bamford in the 69th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Patricio Bamford had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastián Junes. Celtic FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Bamford was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Celtic FC's Sebastián Junes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Eudoxio in the 80th minute of play. If Oscar Udalaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastián Junes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Eudoxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Celtic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Eudoxio came free, but Sebastián Junes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Bamford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sebastián Junes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Vladimiro Raulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Junes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicolas Froila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
