To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6 minutes into the game, Geležinis Vilkas's Nojus Bikas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Max Limont made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's Nojus Bikas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Max Limont narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute of the match Geležinis Vilkas got a corner. Hexo Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eitautas Ivoška ran over to the corner to take the kick. Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Geležinis Vilkas from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Vytautas Baikštys reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ovidijus Merkelis. The goal made the score 1-1. Nojus Bikas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Max Limont having to make a save. Max Limont showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nojus Bikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The throw-in from Anders Stenström in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Geležinis Vilkas's Lucero Fritis. Ovidijus Merkelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mar Cheze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rdth minute of the game Vytautas Baikštys who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nojus Bikas was the one to do the kick off. Pere Bombardier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Max Limont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mar Cheze in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nojus Bikas in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Max Limont saved Hexo Utd from getting behind. Max Limont made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pere Bombardier in the 57th minute. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hexo Utd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eitautas Ivoška was slow to take the kick. During this time Geležinis Vilkas's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Eitautas Ivoška got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Max Limont quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 61 minutes into the match, Adolfo Brandão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidijus Merkelis. Geležinis Vilkas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Brandão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Nojus Bikas struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Max Limont didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geležinis Vilkas. 68 minutes into the match, Hexo Utd's Paulius Rožėnas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidijus Merkelis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacek Bara was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Max Limont came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Geležinis Vilkas's Nojus Bikas. But to his dismay, Nojus Bikas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Hexo Utd's Jarūnas Saponka was substituted for Adolfo Brandão. Ovidijus Merkelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulius Rožėnas in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's goal looked a bit too open when Mar Cheze came free, but Ovidijus Merkelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pere Bombardier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Limont having to interfere. Ovidijus Merkelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mar Cheze, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ovidijus Merkelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mar Cheze in the 88th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Geležinis Vilkas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
