With a little luck, Wolves's Leonas Mažeika got control of the ball when Tomas Danilevičius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonas Mažeika made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Kęstutis Latoža sent off a good shot on target. Oliver Can took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algitas Daškevičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristinel Eftimiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oliver Can showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Eftimiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Tomas Danilevičius in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leonas Mažeika, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Hubertas Dabkevičius took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Leonas Mažeika to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th match minute, Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demba De Reckheim to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Danilevičius's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonas Mažeika firmly grabbed it by the left post. With an all-out effort, FK Mintis Vilnius's Leonas Mažeika threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hubertas Dabkevičius, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kęstutis Latoža got free with Leonas Mažeika in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 56 minutes FK Mintis Vilnius's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristinel Eftimiu who took care of the corner kick. Wolves's Dacian Socoriceanu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Oliver Can in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Oliver Can showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dovydas Aleknius in the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Hubertas Dabkevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonas Mažeika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FK Mintis Vilnius's Leandro Grimi suffered a concussion in the 64th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristinel Eftimiu during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dacian Socoriceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Aldas Galkus came free, but Leonas Mažeika reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dovydas Aleknius came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Wolves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dovydas Aleknius couldn't finish the play.
