After 12 played minutes Heavenly Hooters got a freekick which was hit by Dean Hurst. Gaz Stead was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 19 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Buster Cheesman. In the 20th minute Marty Hill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Metcalf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kyle Connor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwyn Radcliffe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Leicester Lions:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Heavenly Hooters:s goal. Leicester Lions:s Robbie Metcalf showed great skill when he stopped Marty Hill:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vic Burrows in the 35th minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Kyle Connor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Buster Cheesman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyle Connor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute Vic Burrows shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyle Connor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robbie Metcalf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marty Hill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Heavenly Hooters's Jeff Lincoln got a free kick in the 64th minute. Marty Hill took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robbie Metcalf. Leicester Lions's Robbie Metcalf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Hill in the 72nd minute of play. Robbie Metcalf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 83 minutes, Vic Burrows mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leicester Lions and the Heavenly Hooters players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Vic Burrows hit a great ball. Robbie Metcalf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Hill in the 84th minute of the match. Robbie Metcalf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dom Billing in the 86th minute of play.
