The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Team Pogba's Joseph Nicholson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Team Pogba from getting a goal against them. Harvey North hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes Team Pogba got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Wilkins. Rio Linkletter kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Spike Bean kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danny Johnson got free with Joseph Nicholson in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Team Pogba's Laurence Higson got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Rod Reading got a free kick in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Huey Porter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joseph Nicholson. Huey Porter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Malcolm Leather kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Joseph Nicholson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rio Linkletter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Antony Hotte put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Team Pogba:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Leicester Lions:s goal. The referee gave Leicester Lions a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Danny Johnson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Team Pogba's Joseph Nicholson. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danny Johnson to strike the kick off in the second half. Danny Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Nicholson having to interfere. Malcolm Leather hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Malcolm Leather received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Robbie Metcalf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lee Bow charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lee Bow the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lee Bow hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 67 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Huey Porter. In the 69th minute of the match, Lee Bow tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robbie Metcalf saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 3-0 became the score in the 73rd minute when Buster Cheesman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Team Pogba's Joseph Nicholson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Johnson in the 79th minute of play. Leicester Lions made a substitution. Nicky Gregory replaced Duncan Lawless. Team Pogba's Lee Bow got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Team Pogba booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barney Haxby didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match, Lee Bow tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robbie Metcalf saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jeff Barton kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Leicester Lions walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
