The referee ignored Garlic Eaters's protests and gave Stephen Walton a yellow card for diving instead. Stephen Walton kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Damien Bean recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alastair Beaumont. Damien Bean showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gavin Freeman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Alastair Beaumont when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Gavin Freeman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alastair Beaumont. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. Alastair Beaumont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damien Bean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes, FC LIVERPOOL's Damien Bean shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alastair Beaumont came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC LIVERPOOL reached it. The supporters of Garlic Eaters booed when FC LIVERPOOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clive Maloney didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gavin Freeman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alastair Beaumont was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Graham Routledge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Phil Tolley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 31 in the game by Gavin Freeman from a close distance when the talented Alastair Beaumont managed to make a qualified save. Garlic Eaters's players were relieved. In the 35th minute, FC LIVERPOOL's Gavin Freeman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alastair Beaumont. Alastair Beaumont yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Mark Beattie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alastair Beaumont having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Alastair Beaumont had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damien Bean. The crowd rose to their feet as Geoff Colley kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alastair Beaumont. That made the score 4-0 in the 42 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gavin Freeman in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alastair Beaumont saved Garlic Eaters from getting behind. In the 57th minute Gavin Freeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alastair Beaumont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alastair Beaumont came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by FC LIVERPOOL's Damien Bean. But to his dismay, Damien Bean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Alastair Beaumont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoff Colley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavin Freeman in the 63rd minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Alastair Beaumont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavin Freeman in the 67th minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Alastair Beaumont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC LIVERPOOL's Gavin Freeman got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 76 minutes, Nat Philpott mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garlic Eaters and the FC LIVERPOOL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Garlic Eaters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nat Philpott to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes Garlic Eaters got a freekick which was hit by Nat Cawood. In the 80th match minute, Garlic Eaters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graham Routledge to maneuver through the defense. Alastair Beaumont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavin Freeman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Gavin Freeman sped through Garlic Eaters's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alastair Beaumont. After a rather tough play, Garlic Eaters's Jonathan Dunning got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Stephen Walton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoff Colley in the 94th minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Alastair Beaumont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC LIVERPOOL had played much better football throughout.
