The DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Olivier Gilg sped through Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Meng Yu Hui. DIPLOMATA FC PAB were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Song Xiong Hong took the corner. João Carlos Mesquita might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chico Donato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Carlos Mesquita ran back to his position shaking his head. Chico Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Renato Quadros notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Meng Yu Hui. Meng Yu Hui was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Carlos Mesquita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chico Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Meng Yu Hui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Song Xiong Hong in the 37th minute of the match. The throw-in from Wilton do Valle in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Thibault Delanoë. If João Carlos Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute João Carlos Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olivier Gilg to make the kick off. João Carlos Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Donato having to interfere. Song Xiong Hong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Meng Yu Hui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Chico Donato was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Richard da Fonseca. Meng Yu Hui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Quadros in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of DIPLOMATA FC PAB booed when Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibault Delanoë didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Thibault Delanoë hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sal Darby in the 63rd minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meng Yu Hui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Gilg, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Chico Donato made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Thibault Delanoë sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sal Darby in the 68th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thibault Delanoë in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Terra to maneuver through the defense. If Song Xiong Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meng Yu Hui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Song Xiong Hong in the 74th minute of play. Chico Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chico Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Salles in the 86th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sal Darby. A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Betinho Moreno hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Israel Otsando made a precise shot to the right of Chico Donato. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
