Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viggo Lidström started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Olivier Gilg sped through Esporte Club Bahia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelo Lomba. 8 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Xavier. Marcelo Lomba came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg. But to his dismay, Olivier Gilg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Viggo Lidström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Chico Donato made a huge save. In the 15th minute of the match Olivier Gilg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Lomba skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Quadros in the 16th minute of play forced Esporte Club Bahia's goalkeeper Marcelo Lomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DIPLOMATA FC PAB were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Esporte Club Bahia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Song Xiong Hong took the corner. In the 19th match minute, Esporte Club Bahia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Xavier to maneuver through the defense. After 20 minutes of play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Song Xiong Hong made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Lomba was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 23 played minutes Esporte Club Bahia got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Moreira. If Olivier Gilg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Song Xiong Hong went to the cornerflag to take it. Olivier Gilg took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Lomba. Marcelo Lomba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Marcelo Lomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Gilg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of DIPLOMATA FC PAB booed when Esporte Club Bahia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Lomba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olivier Gilg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Lomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Song Xiong Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of DIPLOMATA FC PAB booed when Esporte Club Bahia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Song Xiong Hong came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Song Xiong Hong couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Ramón Furtado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Lomba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Ramón Furtado took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Marcelo Lomba to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramón Furtado in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Lomba saved Esporte Club Bahia from getting behind. Clóvis Passos hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Marcelo Lomba made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Ramón Furtado sent off a good shot on target. After 68 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Lara. Marcelo Lomba was a little too slow when Ramón Furtado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-7. Clóvis Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ramón Furtado took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Lomba. Marcelo Lomba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Clóvis Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Song Xiong Hong shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Lomba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gilberto Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Ramón Furtado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Lomba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodrigo Cisterna lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 93rd minute, one of DIPLOMATA FC PAB:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DIPLOMATA FC PAB. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Esporte Club Bahia. Tiago Xavier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Chico Donato. 1-9. When Luiz Gustavo Paes came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Esporte Club Bahia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Gustavo Paes couldn't finish the play.
