Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Santos Sobrado got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Auriolam II C.F.'s goalkeeper Ponciano De Pedro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Auriolam II C.F. defense, Joe Herring kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ponciano De Pedro. The Auriolam II C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ponciano De Pedro should have stopped the shot. After 11 minutes, Ricardo Arias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valencia C.F. and the Auriolam II C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute Miguel Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Lodge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ponciano De Pedro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ponciano De Pedro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Herring, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Auriolam II C.F.'s Asdrubal Jubera quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ricardo Arias, made in the 23rd minute of the game. After 26 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Joe Herring. Jerry Lodge made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Santos Sobrado sent off a good shot on target. Auriolam II C.F.'s Ponciano De Pedro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Herring in the 28th minute of play. Joe Herring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ponciano De Pedro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Auriolam II C.F.'s Fu Tian Nan got a free kick in the 34th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Auriolam II C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joe Herring came free, but Ponciano De Pedro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joe Herring took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ponciano De Pedro. Auriolam II C.F.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Godoy came free, but Jerry Lodge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joe Herring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ponciano De Pedro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Valencia C.F. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joe Herring to make the kick off. Auriolam II C.F.'s Ponciano De Pedro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Auriolam II C.F. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Godoy in the 53rd minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Jerry Lodge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joe Herring could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Ponciano De Pedro made a huge save. Auriolam II C.F.'s Jesús Perera was substituted for Miguel Godoy. Jerry Lodge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jesús Perera went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joe Herring got free with Ponciano De Pedro in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jerry Lodge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesús Perera in the 77th minute of the match. Joe Herring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ponciano De Pedro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Valencia C.F. were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Auriolam II C.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joe Herring took the corner. 87 minutes into the match, Auriolam II C.F.'s goalkeeper Ponciano De Pedro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joe Herring. Valencia C.F. were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Auriolam II C.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joe Herring took the corner. After taking down the ball on Valencia C.F.'s corner Ryan Plumber fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ponciano De Pedro quite easily take care of the ball. In the 90th minute Jesús Perera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Lodge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jesús Perera came free, but Jerry Lodge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Valencia C.F. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
