After 10 played minutes Valencia CF Mindszent got a freekick which was hit by Gáspár Rigó. The supporters of Tirant lo Blanch booed when Valencia CF Mindszent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Xenidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute of the match Pitin Vallejo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Banaszak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 19 minutes of play, Valencia CF Mindszent's Elek Bognár made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kamal Pahlevi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the match, Leonard Treppa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Valencia CF Mindszent's Daniel Banaszak. Daniel Banaszak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Banaszak was a little too slow when Leonard Treppa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-1. When Tirant lo Blanch's Leonard Treppa in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valencia CF Mindszent's goalie prevented a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Fitos came free, but Kamal Pahlevi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Leonard Treppa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Banaszak, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonard Treppa to make the kick off. Tirant lo Blanch's Pitin Vallejo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Valencia CF Mindszent got a freekick which was hit by Marcell Kiss. In the 64th match minute, Valencia CF Mindszent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcell Kiss to maneuver through the defense. Pitin Vallejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Sinclair in the 69th minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Kamal Pahlevi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christos Xenidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tirant lo Blanch's Jefferson Pinheiro was substituted for Dabi Barba. Tirant lo Blanch's Jefferson Pinheiro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gáspár Rigó, made in the 77th minute of the game. Valencia CF Mindszent's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tirant lo Blanch had won, even though Valencia CF Mindszent had held more of the ball.
