Raimundo Ventura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 7 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Ventura came free, but Ademar Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Qiu Chuan Ran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Binne Koppermann. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Lixandro in the 12th minute of play forced Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Ademar Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ademar Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Lixandro in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Lixandro came free, but Ademar Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Zeferino Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Lixandro in the 17th minute of play forced Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Ademar Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qiu Chuan Ran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Binne Koppermann in the 23rd minute. Ademar Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Lixandro's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes Sporting Clube Patrício's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rodolfo Faria who took care of the corner kick. Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Faria in the 33rd minute of play. If Paulo Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Israel Carvalhal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Macena hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Qiu Chuan Ran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Binne Koppermann. Menelaos Damianos lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 39th minute, one of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.. The goalkeeper, Qiu Chuan Ran, was totally fooled by Sporting Clube Patrício's Binne Koppermann, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Pirovolakis during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Andreas Pirovolakis hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Binne Koppermann to make the kick off. Ademar Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Lixandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Binne Koppermann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Qiu Chuan Ran was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Santiago Macena hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Perathoner to maneuver through the defense. Sporting Clube Patrício's Vicente Maia was substituted for Binne Koppermann. In the 62nd minute, Bernard Perathoner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Gonzalo Lixandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Lixandro in the 70th minute of play forced Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Ademar Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo got control of the ball when Rodolfo Faria tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute Rodolfo Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Vicente Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Rodolfo Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Qiu Chuan Ran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Ademar Azevedo came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gonzalo Lixandro. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Lixandro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gonzalo Lixandro took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ademar Azevedo. Ademar Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Vicente Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Qiu Chuan Ran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romão Santos's late challenge caught a Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romão Santos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Romão Santos hit a great ball. Sporting Clube Patrício succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. had controlled the match.
