After 17 played minutes Madvik FC got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Oihenarte. 21 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Venerando came free, but Armindo Maltez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armindo Maltez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Venerando in the 35th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Jacobo Venerando sped through Ponte do Carro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armindo Maltez. Armindo Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Venerando in the 40th minute of play. Ponte do Carro's Armindo Maltez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Venerando in the 42nd minute of play. Manuel Carvalhal hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Madvik FC made a substitution. Jorge Seixas replaced Valdemar Fontoura. Madvik FC made a substitution. Lucílio Vilanova replaced Jacobo Venerando. After the first half Madvik FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucílio Vilanova made a kick off. Armindo Maltez was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Lucílio Vilanova capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucílio Vilanova really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Madvik FC's Lucílio Vilanova got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucílio Vilanova struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Armindo Maltez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madvik FC. Jarbas Salgueiro hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Alcino Jesus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carles Olle. Madvik FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Madvik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Salgueiro to maneuver through the defense. Lucílio Vilanova recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Lucílio Vilanova sped through Ponte do Carro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armindo Maltez. Ponte do Carro's Armindo Maltez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Ponte do Carro from getting a goal against them. Armindo Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucílio Vilanova in the 80th minute of play. Loukianos Livas kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loukianos Livas to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Seixas kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Luís Falcão got a throw-in 96 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Palmiro Leite. A collision led to Madvik FC getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Gaspar Veloso hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Madvik FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
