Matos Velhos's Mike van Kampen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Ribas in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heigo Luiga. Fabrício Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Mike van Kampen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Long Gang Sen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Ribas in the 38th minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Mike van Kampen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matos Velhos's Generoso Silvino was substituted for Lisandro Fagundes. After a rather tough play, FC Fura Balizas's Vicente Madruga got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Mike van Kampen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Long Gang Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Candal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Júlio Gentil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Long Gang Sen was relentless in the 74th minute of the game.
