The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eder Lopes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eder Lopes in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edwin van der Sar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eder Lopes spun around in front of the goal 55 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of União Sport Clube Paredes's goal. Feliks Bondel took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin van der Sar. Edwin van der Sar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Edwin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Bălăiță in the 64th minute of play forced União Sport Clube Paredes's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sabadim Harammes PRD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
