In the 6th minute of the match, Fabrício Lopes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armindo Maltez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gusmão Benevides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Maltez having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Simão Boaventura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Long Gang Sen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 17 minutes, Olívio Ribas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fura Balizas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olívio Ribas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Armindo Maltez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olívio Ribas. In the 19th minute Loukianos Livas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Gang Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Long Gang Sen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Jesus in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Fabrício Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Maltez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute FC Fura Balizas were awarded a corner. Gusmão Benevides went to the cornerflag to take it. Ponte do Carro's Armindo Maltez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Ponte do Carro from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Ponte do Carro defense, Fabrício Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Maltez. The Ponte do Carro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Maltez should have stopped the shot. Armindo Maltez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Ribas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Olívio Ribas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armindo Maltez was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Long Gang Sen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Boaventura in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Ribas in the 71st minute of play forced Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper Armindo Maltez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Fura Balizas's Long Gang Sen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save FC Fura Balizas from getting a goal against them. The corner led FC Fura Balizas's Gusmão Benevides to fire away a dangerous shot which Armindo Maltez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eugeniusz Sanocki took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armindo Maltez. Armindo Maltez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
