União Sport Clube Paredes's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Lopes in the 12th minute of play. Jerónimo Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Long Gang Sen made a huge save. Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Ribas in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Lisandro Palhares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Long Gang Sen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Santana in the 21st minute. Olívio Ribas might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edwin van der Sar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olívio Ribas ran back to his position shaking his head. União Sport Clube Paredes's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Ribas in the 24th minute of play. Olívio Ribas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Fura Balizas's Long Gang Sen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Quilo in the 31st minute of play. Long Gang Sen made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Dabi Saens sent off a good shot on target. Edwin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olívio Ribas in the 38th minute of the match. Olívio Ribas struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Edwin van der Sar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Fura Balizas. Long Gang Sen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dabi Saens in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Dabi Saens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Gang Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerónimo Furtado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Olívio Ribas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edwin van der Sar. Olívio Ribas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 61st minute, Roman Quilo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Long Gang Sen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. FC Fura Balizas's Gusmão Benevides quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Horia Taşcu, made in the 70th minute of the game. FC Fura Balizas made a substitution. Jânio Novaes replaced Mario Azeari. 74 minutes into the match, União Sport Clube Paredes's goal looked a bit too open when Olívio Ribas came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dabi Saens in the 75th minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Ribas in the 76th minute of play forced União Sport Clube Paredes's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Olívio Ribas made a precise shot to the right of Edwin van der Sar. União Sport Clube Paredes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. FC Fura Balizas made a substitution. Eugeniusz Sanocki replaced Olívio Ribas. FC Fura Balizas's Cassiano Peralta was substituted for Fumo Alto. Long Gang Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dabi Saens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugeniusz Sanocki took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwin van der Sar. Edwin van der Sar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Fura Balizas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
