Nuno Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aras Görkem Kaymaz in the 3rd minute of play. The MZ Fénix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Assoc. Desportiva Baião's goalkeeper Nuno Ferro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute MZ Fénix were awarded a corner. Aras Görkem Kaymaz went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by 狄朗沙 in the 20th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when 狄朗沙 came free, but Pankracy Zajonc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 狄朗沙 in the 22nd minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cai Yuan Yuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for MZ Fénix. Nicolas Balsemão stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nuno Ferro. 0-2. Nuno Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florin Dragușin in the 39th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Aquilino Edwardo in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MZ Fénix's Vladimiro Granja. Nuno Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Ferro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Ovando to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cai Yuan Yuan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Assoc. Desportiva Baião was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Edwardo to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 53rd minute of play. MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 狄朗沙 in the 55th minute of play. Pankracy Zajonc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 狄朗沙, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cai Yuan Yuan took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuno Ferro. Nuno Ferro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. MZ Fénix's Alexandre Valido was substituted for Vladimiro Granja. Nuno Ferro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 70th minute of the match. Ermegildo Izaguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cai Yuan Yuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Ferro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Assoc. Desportiva Baião getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Aquilino Edwardo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cai Yuan Yuan in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Ferro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 78 minutes Assoc. Desportiva Baião's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aras Görkem Kaymaz who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Vygantas Petrošius almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Assoc. Desportiva Baião's Nuno Ferro did a great save. MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, MZ Fénix's Florin Dragușin got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MZ Fénix had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
