Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabrício Lustosa started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Academia Monte Gordo getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Fabrício Lustosa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aras Görkem Kaymaz in the 8th minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Pankracy Zajonc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrício Lustosa. 15 minutes into the match, Florin Dragușin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong. Mao Zhen Hong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lázaro Ramalho made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cai Yuan Yuan immediately put the ball in play. Mao Zhen Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Yuan Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mao Zhen Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mao Zhen Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc got control of the ball when Fabrício Lustosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Dragușin to maneuver through the defense. Cai Yuan Yuan took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mao Zhen Hong. Mao Zhen Hong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mao Zhen Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Yuan Yuan in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MZ Fénix's Florin Dragușin got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Florin Dragușin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Cai Yuan Yuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Simon Matsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mao Zhen Hong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 93rd minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Christian Westerstrand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Pankracy Zajonc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The MZ Fénix supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MZ Fénix would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
