Alex Frasca came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Angrense's Carlos Meireles. But to his dismay, Carlos Meireles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Meireles came free, but Alex Frasca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match, Carlos Meireles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alex Frasca saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Garanhão do SUL's Alex Frasca got control of the ball when Carlos Meireles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aloísio Garcez hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Michal Kaczanka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garanhão do SUL's supporters rose to their feet, but Michal Kaczanka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex Frasca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Meireles in the 20th minute. Honorato Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Kaczanka in the 22nd minute of the match. SC Angrense's Honorato Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Kaczanka in the 24th minute of play. After some careless play in the SC Angrense defense, Edgar Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorato Alves. The SC Angrense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorato Alves should have stopped the shot. 29 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Meireles came free, but Alex Frasca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Carlos Meireles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Angrense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. SC Angrense's Honorato Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Costa in the 37th minute of play. After 45 minutes, Eusébio Mesquita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garanhão do SUL and the SC Angrense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eusébio Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. SC Angrense's Tzeko Kotlarski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Garanhão do SUL. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Amado Vigário recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alex Frasca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Honorato Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Kaczanka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes SC Angrense got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Meireles. When Aloísio Garcez fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garanhão do SUL's protests and gave Aloísio Garcez a yellow card for diving instead. Garanhão do SUL's 孙誉剑 was substituted for Amado Vigário. Garanhão do SUL's Torcato Rebocho was substituted for Salvador Lousada. The supporters of SC Angrense booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Garcez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Carlos Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Erubiel Chorche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Angrense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Chorche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Meireles might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Frasca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Meireles ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Carlos Meireles put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alex Frasca. Honorato Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Kaczanka in the 79th minute of play. Garanhão do SUL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by João Viana in the 80th minute. Michal Kaczanka struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Honorato Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garanhão do SUL. In the 87th match minute, SC Angrense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Kaczanka, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Eusébio Mesquita got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 95th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Burtea missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 97 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Alex Frasca right hand side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Angrense fans cheered their team off the field, for while Garanhão do SUL had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
