When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Cássio Cortez sped through Seleção de Aleijados's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flávio Regueira. Rogério Boaventura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flávio Regueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Cortez in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Cássio Cortez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seleção de Aleijados's Flávio Regueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Seleção de Aleijados's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Idalécio Luz was slow to take the kick. During this time LeoMel F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Delfim Matias kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Cássio Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Teixeira made a kick off. With a little luck, LeoMel F.C.'s Rogério Boaventura got control of the ball when Lionel-Andrés Lapadula tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match LeoMel F.C. got a corner. Seleção de Aleijados's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Seleção de Aleijados's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Cássio Cortez scored 4-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flávio Regueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LeoMel F.C. had played much better football throughout.
