Alex Frasca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 84th minute of the match Luís Braga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Frasca skillfully saved the ball. 86 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Costa came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Filip Mika hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Gervásio Severiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Frasca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edgar Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armindo Salgado was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Gervásio Severiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Frasca was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. When the match was over VB-Team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Garanhão do SUL throughout the match.
