In the 18th minute, Pál Polyák got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Garanhão do SUL's Alex Frasca got control of the ball when Pál Polyák tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 21 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Amado Vigário. 28 minutes in the game, Pál Polyák fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alex Frasca having to interfere. Pál Polyák took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Frasca. Alex Frasca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pál Polyák to strike the kick off in the second half. If Pál Polyák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute.
