After a defensive mix-up in AD Oliveirense's zone, Fu Han Qiang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio César came out of the goal and Fu Han Qiang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dave Nash fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Oblak having to interfere. Jon Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Manso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Andarilhos's Júlio César threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antony Bruno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. AD Oliveirense's Júlio César played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antony Bruno in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th minute Dave Nash shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Oblak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Dave Nash left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AD Oliveirense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jon Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Manso in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of AD Oliveirense booed when Andarilhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Ruas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Júlio César didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fu Han Qiang went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Dave Nash made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes AD Oliveirense got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Vilar. Júlio César made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fu Han Qiang in the 56th minute of play. Hugo Manso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dave Nash could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Jon Oblak made a huge save. Fu Han Qiang took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio César. Júlio César dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. AD Oliveirense made a substitution. Álvaro Igrejas replaced Fabrício Baía. After 76 played minutes Andarilhos got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Montiel. AD Oliveirense's Celedonio Berenguer was substituted for Marco Espírito Santo. A collision led to Andarilhos getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gonzalo Montiel hit a great ball. Jon Oblak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dave Nash in the 80th minute. Severino Figueira hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Celedonio Berenguer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antony Bruno in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio César prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 88 minutes of play, Andarilhos's Antony Bruno made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Júlio César was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 played minutes Andarilhos got a freekick which was hit by Antony Bruno. The supporters of Andarilhos booed when AD Oliveirense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Manso didn't get a good kick on the ball.
