In the 6th minute, Adelino Palma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Teves in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Sabrosa in the 10th minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavier Sabrosa's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. ZEZOM TEAM's Armando Mascarenhas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Angelo Carvalhal, made in the 22nd minute of the game. David Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Sabrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes AM United got a freekick which was hit by Pierre-Olivier Ortiz. David Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Teves's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Teves in the 37th minute of play forced AM United's goalkeeper David Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, AM United's goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Sabrosa came free, but David Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ZEZOM TEAM's zone, Teodoro Freire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Morais came out of the goal and Teodoro Freire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 43 played minutes ZEZOM TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiusz Oborski. Enzo Morais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Freire in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Teves was the one to do the kick off. ZEZOM TEAM made a substitution. Nate Calas replaced Xavier Sabrosa. In a very dangerous position, a player in AM United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Angelo Pessoa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Morais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Michal Budzyn in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AM United's Elias Novais. David Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Teves in the 98th minute of play.
