Rafael Heintz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurt Ahrem in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Mansilha in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Heintz saved TSV Delliehausen from getting behind. Rafael Heintz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gary Lineker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TSV Delliehausen's Rafael Heintz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Lineker in the 12th minute of play. Academica Pulheim's Paul Heyckendorf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvis Töpfer in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvis Töpfer in the 24th minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Paul Heyckendorf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Heintz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Mansilha in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Alex Mansilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Heintz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Heintz made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Lutz Golke sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Alex Mansilha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Heintz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of TSV Delliehausen booed when Academica Pulheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th match minute, Academica Pulheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Ramos to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Academica Pulheim's Maxime Vrints was substituted for Lutz Golke. Academica Pulheim made a substitution. Hugó Bøss replaced Joachim Kretschmer. In the 66th minute, Gary Lineker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rafael Heintz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. If Alex Mansilha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gary Lineker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Heintz having to interfere. That made the score 2-3 after 86 minutes of play. 93 minutes into the match, Maxime Vrints notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of TSV Delliehausen's Rafael Heintz. Rafael Heintz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
