The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Fc Schönhagen's Xie Cheng Xiao in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pavlos Konstantakakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xie Cheng Xiao in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Fc Schönhagen were awarded a corner. Loris Groß went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Klaus Wauters heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 19th minute, Dinu Bocu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernhardt Reshauge was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Bernhardt Reshauge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianni Balla, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Bernhardt Reshauge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianni Balla in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dinu Bocu in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernhardt Reshauge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamburg Fighters's Pavlos Konstantakakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xie Cheng Xiao in the 31st minute of play. Pavlos Konstantakakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xie Cheng Xiao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinu Bocu in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernhardt Reshauge saved Fc Schönhagen from getting behind. In the 40th minute of the game Leandros Hölsch made a throw-in which Gianni Balla played forward. In the 45th minute Loris Groß shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavlos Konstantakakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Loris Groß came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Fc Schönhagen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loris Groß couldn't finish the play.

52 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xie Cheng Xiao. Bernhardt Reshauge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brandon Rick in the 54th minute of the match. Hamburg Fighters's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wieslaw Obuchowicz in the 56th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Xie Cheng Xiao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Schönhagen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xie Cheng Xiao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Fc Schönhagen's goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Balla came free, but Bernhardt Reshauge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Enrico Piccirilli threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fc Schönhagen's Rouven Bernhauer quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 71 minutes into the game, one of Hamburg Fighters:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hamburg Fighters:s Pavlos Konstantakakis showed great skill when he stopped Loris Groß:s penalty. Loris Groß scored 1-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavlos Konstantakakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianni Balla in the 77th minute of play forced Fc Schönhagen's goalkeeper Bernhardt Reshauge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Klaus Wauters came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Fc Schönhagen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klaus Wauters couldn't finish the play. Xie Cheng Xiao received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pavlos Konstantakakis came out and tried to block the shot, but Xie Cheng Xiao slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 82nd minute. Fc Schönhagen's attentive Rouven Bernhauer managed to snatch the ball when Enrico Piccirilli made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. After 92 minutes Hamburg Fighters's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Loris Groß who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rouven Bernhauer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pavlos Konstantakakis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Chants of Fc Schönhagen echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Hamburg Fighters had held the ball for most of the match.
