David Elodio started the match with the kick off. If David Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th minute, David Elodio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacek Matuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Elodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Jacek Matuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Elodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s David Elodio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacek Matuch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, Roberto Carlos threw the ball into play from the sideline. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Toralf Hell quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After taking down the ball on SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s corner Henning Fink fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacek Matuch quite easily take care of the ball. Alfonsas Jakniūnas hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After the first half SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Silvestre Loi made the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes SV Bad Harzburg got a freekick which was hit by Jurek Ohrem. If David Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67thth minute of the game Silvestre Loi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A throw-in in the 71st minute of the game was made by Toralf Hell with Chen Zhen as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Elodio got free with Jacek Matuch in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Steffen Michalsky hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. A hard shot 79 in the game by David Elodio from a close distance when the talented Jacek Matuch managed to make a qualified save. SV Bad Harzburg's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, SV Bad Harzburg's Jurek Ohrem got a free kick in the 82nd minute. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ödön Szily in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Jurek Ohrem cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Andriy Lunin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horst Hussen in the 90th minute of play. Kaimo Liiva kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Hermann Viapiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Andriy Lunin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SV Bad Harzburg from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
