The audience thought a goal was coming when Amerigo Labarra got free with Lucrețiu Brătescu in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themis Papadimoulis in the 12th minute of play forced LavAzzA's goalkeeper Iwan Lepucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VfL Bad Nenndorf's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zsolt Székely in the 18th minute. The corner led to VfL Bad Nenndorf's Lv Kun Liang getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. LavAzzA's Iwan Lepucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Štriker in the 22nd minute of play. VfL Bad Nenndorf's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zsolt Székely in the 23rd minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Baptist Haas advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Themis Papadimoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Lepucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute VfL Bad Nenndorf were awarded a corner. Zsolt Székely went to the cornerflag to take it. VfL Bad Nenndorf's Themis Papadimoulis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iwan Lepucki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gaudencio Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute Themis Papadimoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Lepucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Themis Papadimoulis in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Lepucki saved LavAzzA from getting behind. Róbert Štriker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Themis Papadimoulis to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Themis Papadimoulis in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Lepucki saved LavAzzA from getting behind. In the 56th minute of the match VfL Bad Nenndorf got a corner. LavAzzA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zsolt Székely ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of LavAzzA's goalie and right to Lv Kun Liang. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. LavAzzA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 59 played minutes LavAzzA got a freekick which was hit by Franc Fabra. 60 minutes into the game, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Lv Kun Liang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwan Lepucki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Iwan Lepucki made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Lv Kun Liang sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Gaudencio Lekubegi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucrețiu Brătescu was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. If Gaudencio Lekubegi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. Iwan Lepucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Papadimoulis in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 83rd minute of play forced VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Brătescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. VfL Bad Nenndorf played a much better game than LavAzzA and deserved their victory. The LavAzzA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
