The ball had pretty good speed, but Olaf Geiger firmly grabbed it by the left post. 96 minutes into the match, Edmílson Gaúcho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prospero Goethe. Friesenwerdermoor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmílson Gaúcho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Fire Devils fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Friesenwerdermoor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
