The audience thought a goal was coming when Don Merlot got free with Kiran Tomasini in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Kiran Tomasini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Sessa in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalkeeper Kiran Tomasini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Morientes came free, but Timo Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timo Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferris Stock in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Kiran Tomasini got control of the ball when Don Merlot tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 20 minutes, Fernando Morientes made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SSV Ulm 1846's Timo Courtois tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kiran Tomasini made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Don Merlot sent off a good shot on target. Kiran Tomasini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Don Merlot in the 25th minute. Timo Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Morientes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SSV Ulm 1846's Timo Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Luna in the 28th minute of play. SSV Ulm 1846's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sven-Olof Lilja in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the game, THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Francisco Mino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timo Courtois made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fernando Morientes took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timo Courtois. Timo Courtois dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The corner led SSV Ulm 1846's Sven-Olof Lilja to fire away a dangerous shot which Kiran Tomasini despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Gregorio Atauri threw the ball into play from the sideline. SSV Ulm 1846's Afonso Silveira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
52 minutes into the match, Jorge Luna notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of SSV Ulm 1846's Timo Courtois. Timo Courtois was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Merlot in the 55th minute of play forced THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalkeeper Kiran Tomasini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiran Tomasini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Merlot in the 61st minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Fernando Morientes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th match minute, THE ROKERY PIMKIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Morientes to maneuver through the defense. THE ROKERY PIMKIS made a substitution. Fidele Barajo replaced Fernando Morientes. Kiran Tomasini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Sessa in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match SSV Ulm 1846 got a corner. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sven-Olof Lilja ran over to the corner to take the kick. SSV Ulm 1846's Sven-Olof Lilja was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kiran Tomasini in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alberigo Sessa struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Kiran Tomasini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SSV Ulm 1846. Alberigo Sessa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiran Tomasini having to interfere. Francisco Mino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Timo Courtois skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Don Merlot blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kiran Tomasini having to make a save. Don Merlot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kiran Tomasini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Francisco Mino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Timo Courtois made a huge save. In the 83rd minute Jorge Luna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timo Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Luna, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the match, SSV Ulm 1846's Alberigo Sessa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kiran Tomasini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 90 minutes THE ROKERY PIMKIS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sven-Olof Lilja who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on SSV Ulm 1846's corner Sven-Olof Lilja fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kiran Tomasini quite easily take care of the ball. SSV Ulm 1846's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Jorge Luna scored to the left of an out of position Timo Courtois, making the score, 1-5. Delmiro Jayvier hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The SSV Ulm 1846 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. THE ROKERY PIMKIS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
